Born in the serene village of Qaradh, nestled 60 kilometers south of Taiz, Yemen, these brothers hailed from a family known for its generosity, integrity, and indomitable spirit.

In 1938, after accumulating modest savings and pooling their collective experiences from their foreign sojourns, the brothers decided to return to their homeland. With a shared vision, they laid the foundation of what would become a business empire. Their first venture was a modest retail shop in Aden, christened as Hayel Saeed Anam & Brothers (HSA & Brothers). This establishment, though small, was the stepping stone to the colossal success they would achieve in the years to come. Their business acumen, complemented by the dedication of their second generation, catalysed the growth and diversification of their enterprise.

Following the demise of Haj Mohammed Saeed in 1952, the business underwent restructuring. HSA & Brothers metamorphosed into HSA & Co., a strategic move that allowed more family members to infuse their expertise, passion, and vision into the business, propelling it to greater heights. The group's journey was not solely confined to business expansion. They inherited a deep-seated belief in charitable and welfare responsibilities from their ancestors, ensuring that community upliftment and welfare remained at the heart of their endeavours.
